An Internal Phenomenon

This quote means that what people earn for choosing the right the right is good character and a good reputation. People earn self respect because they are helping people in need or a whole community. They show integrity because they are showing what type of a person they truly are. For example, if you see a person getting bullied, you feel bad for the person and decide to stand up for him. That person got respect from people because he choose the right and he is showing how loyal he is not only for himself but for others. People also show self-worth because they are proving how much they care for their reputation and how they like it when people care for them. We can show this quote as students by helping others that are struggling with their work, working hard to get good grades, and by always being honest with the students and the teachers. People can get good reward like for example,they can feel happy and great for choosing the right, getting people to respect them, and getting a higher good reputation.
