Duties and Responsibilities: Use portable x-ray equipment to conduct x-rays in patients' hospital rooms. They can also work in hospitals or medical center's radiology department or work in emergency rooms. X-Ray Technicians can also work in specialized areas such as computed tomography scanning, MRI, and mammography.
Salary: $54,000 based on 160 salaries
Education: Need an Associates degree in Radiology, and also state license to get employed, and a certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
Demand or Need for the profession: Interpersonal Skills, Logic Skills, Technical Skills, and Communication Skills.
Reflection: I would like to be one because it will be interesting to do X-Rays and Scans to people. Also because they can work in hospitals and medical centers.
