Class Evaluation

The thing I really liked about this class was the fact that Mr. Haymore thought us more about choosing the right using quotes, videos, slides, and gave us advice. I also liked the fact that he gave us 5 minutes to write more goals and write about how we feel in our Life planning goals journal. Lastly, the typing I really liked it because we got to do it, on medical career research, typing tutor, and the student success quotes. Which I really improved more on my typing skills.

I don't like fact that there are some kids that don't follow the quotes or the teachers advice to choose the right and decide to talk back to him in the middle of a good lesson.

There's nothing to change about this class is good the way it is and some people actually get the advice and the importance of choosing the right.

Yes I am because i actually take time and write down my goals because I really want to plan what I want to be in the future and how I am going to achieve it. I also write my thoughts and feelings about the student success quotes and the advice he gives us.

Yes I am because I want people to change their attitude and because I want to prove to people that I don't choose the wrong and that I am going to the right path making good decisions.

I learned good advice from this class and i am willing to teach it to people to prove them that it is best to change the way they are and to start choosing the right if they want a better future. Also for they can mature more and be responsible people.

I will always remember from this class the advice and to always choose the right 24/7.

Demand or Need for the profession: Cross-Cultural Management, Flexibility, team work, analysis, negotiation, and autonomy.

Reflection: I would like to be one because I am interested in negotiations, economics, and analyzing the functions of agencies.

Education: RN degree, Bachelor's degree, and earning a certification in trauma nursing.

Demand or Need for the profession: Excellent clinical, critical thinking, decision-making skills, ability to work in a dynamic high-stress environment, flexible, motivated, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.

Reflection: I would not like to be one because I don't like seeing to much blood or surgeries happen. Also I am interested in another career.

This quote means that your goals can help you choose the right because you are willing to save your good future for it cannot be affected. Choosing the right is making good decisions 24/7 without being told to. Having goals is making your own future/preparing yourself to know what you really want. It relates to standing up because a person can be brave enough to say no or leave to something bad their so called friends are doing if they care about their good reputation and about their goals. It relates to us as students because some people can have friends that smoke and if they invite you to do that you should say just avoid them because those type of people just want to make you have a bad reputation.  You can make your own future by the decisions you make and by having a good heart which can make you succeed. It can make you succeed because a lot of people can admire you and respect you because they can see that your the only person that really cares for their future and their good reputations by trying hard and never giving up.

This Monday the United States gets to celebrate Memorial Day by having a day off from school, work, and etc. Memorial Day is a day where they honor all of those who lost their lives during the Civil War. Since the United States got in another conflict, Memorial Day became a day where they commemorate american military which are died for all wars. For decades, they day have been celebrated on May 30. Until the Uniform Act was established and Made the day to be every last Monday of May to create a 3 day weekend for the federal employees. Each year cities and towns make parades to commemorate the soldiers and the veterans of the war. Each year the moment of remembrance takes place at 3:00 p.m. local time.

This quote means that the best way to have enthusiasm is to have the best character on school,at home, and on public. People who have good character are respected, admired, and trusted this is because they have shown their best side by always choosing the right and also because of the good character. For example, the woman that worked in the restaurant she wanted to be a nurse but didn't have enough money for the tuition. Since she was the only one who had good character her boss decided to pay her the tuition so that she can achieve her goals. Now she is a nurse and has her bachelor's and masters but she wants to get her doctor of medicine degree which her old boss is trying to pay it for her. I am trying to say that if you behave good, choose the right, and being kind then you can get re payed in a good way for something you need or want. It can bring peace because you are showing that not everyone in the world could be mean and cruel and actually have a good heart. You can bring harmony because you can change the way of a person to a better version which is more nicer, no resentment, and happy.

IDP Reflection

IDP Showcase

Yesterday we had our spring Interdisciplinary project my appointment was at 5:00 p.m. I had to admit I was a little nervous but I remained strong during presenting and did not showed any signs of actually being nervous. I did good on remembering my parts, talking loud, looking at the audience, and not showing sings of nervousness. I feel like I need to talk more when the panel ask questions and actually answer them not only letting my team mates speak. But, overall I feel like if the whole presentation went good. 

Forgive

"When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive."

This quote means that bad things always occur to people which make them angry and deep depression but, the only way to feel relieved id to forgive. Having resentment is bad because it will make you hate and have anger for the rest of your life. But, there is a way to recover and that is forgiveness. Forgiveness can help because it can make you feel relieved and to the other person who did bad to you. Once you learn to forgive and forget you will feel more better and your life will be more happier. Like for example, the guy who was drunk and manslaughter two girls who were age 20, he got 22 years of prison. Until, one of the girls mom learned to forgive and sent him a letter of forgiveness to the murderer, he sent her an apology letter and the girls mom convinced the judge to give him less years. People should learn not to get resentment towards others because things can end up worse and innocent people can be hurt. The best way to get rid of the hate and anger you feel towards someone is like I mentioned before forgiveness and also to open up and let everything they feel. What I mean by that is that they need to get rid of everything bad they have on their spiritual minds and be happy.

Telling the truth is the most valuable thing to do because you can gain more respect and honor from other people because you are choosing the right. The first on means that telling the truth will help you from getting into a huge problem because you speaking up before it id to late. The second one means that if you tell the truth you are saving an innocent person who had nothing to do with it from getting accused into something serious when they didn't even do anything. The third one means that you will learn a lesson from what you said from just saying the truth. The fourth one means that you will not be punished as bad from the others because you spoke up and said something. The fifth one means that more people will trust you and save you in case you get accused of something you didn't do because everyone believes in your word of honor. The sixth one means to not tell lies because if you keep and keep on lying your lie will get bigger and you will have a lot of guilt that you will end up saying something at the lat minute.

This quote means that life is a challenge and you need to stand up or speak up for what is right instead of following the wrong crowd. It is a challenge because people try hard and choose the right avoiding the kinds of bad things people make and get offered to them. An example would be Brooke she is six feet tall, she always chooses the right, and she speaks up for herself. She is a person who doesn't try to fit in on groups and she tries her best to succeed she always chooses the right and try to convince people to not fall in the wrong crowd and gives her friends advice. Brooke would be a good example because she knows how to avoid the challenges teens face today and because she speaks for herself when she sees something she doesn't like. But, some people give up on life challenges and fall for the wrong crowd. An example for this would be a person who always get straight A's but he ended up hanging out with the wrong crowd which caused him to change and become the ctw student. People just give up because they feel like if they want to fit in and because they don't have the courage to stand up. But, if people face those challenges the best way to avoid them would be to brave and speak for yourself doesn't matter which "friends" you loose but you will earn more respect form others.

This quote means that people loosing with pride than winning with guilt. What I mean is that there is nothing bad on winning and loosing because you get what you earn and you will learn to try harder next time or to enjoy the competition. For example, the kid who lost the competition and he went to congratulate his opponent and the dad. This is loosing with honor because nobody else would have the guts and consider this a friendly match or a good win. I feel bad for other people because they don't want to loose always win and decide to cheat. Like the horse ride race he was on fifth place but he used something to shock the horse with for he can get to first place. He did get a first place but, sadly he got caught and has to pay a fine to the police. What people have to learn is that even though they win or loose they are still winners because they tried so hard to get where they are at. There is no need on cheating because they only thing it will do is damage your good reputation and no one will want to talk to you because you are dishonest. All the choices you chose can affect you in the future and it will be worse than what you did, always chose the right.

In life there is obstacles people have to go through in order to be successful there, will be ups and downs. Like for example, Dan Dierdorf was a good football player he retired and he became a sportscaster, but the most important thing is that he id a good character who always chooses the right. I used him as an example because he has goals and he tried hard in order to achieve them and be more successful in life. The best way to achieve them will be ignoring all the bad in life.

This quote means that the main key a person will ever earn will be respect. People can earn respect by showing their good character and choosing the right based on how they feel or what they value more. Mostly all of the times values win because you are showing that you have empathy for others but most importantly you will make someone proud. Sometimes feelings can be betraying you because of anger, revenge, or something bad towards other people. But, if they have good values they have to learn to accept the apology and feel bad for the person without making them feel bad or something. For example, a murderer can have some type of revenge toward another person and their feelings are making them to kill that person, while their values are showing them that it is bad to take away someones life. If people want to be respected they just need to learn things to go and be happy, not letting no negatives getting into their positive and spiritual life. This quote fits us as students because for example, their is a test on school and you completely blank out and you see your partner all calmly doing her test and you start to think. What I am meaning is that people have two options like for my example the choices would be you feeling to cheat and get a good grade and the second choice is value you not cheating and earning the grade you deserve by not studying a lot.

This quote means that what people earn for choosing the right the right is good character and a good reputation. People earn self respect because they are helping people in need or a whole community. They show integrity because they are showing what type of a person they truly are. For example, if you see a person getting bullied, you feel bad for the person and decide to stand up for him. That person got respect from people because he choose the right and he is showing how loyal he is not only for himself but for others. People also show self-worth because they are proving how much they care for their reputation and how they like it when people care for them. We can show this quote as students by helping others that are struggling with their work, working hard to get good grades, and by always being honest with the students and the teachers. People can get good reward like for example,they can feel happy and great for choosing the right, getting people to respect them, and getting a higher good reputation.

It can help us as students by working hard because we can show how mastered and productive we are on each class subjects based on our classwork, assignments, and projects/presentations. We can follow our passions by really wanting to study the career we want to be. One example can be that you really want to study for a career because that is the thing you want and your parents will not support you because they want you to study for another career. Then the best thing to do is to ignore and be something that you really love and it will make you succeed in life because you really love the career and you care for it. Don't go after money only because you see other careers that get more money than the one you really want to study for. Everyone starts low with a low salary you will just have to wait a few years and as you go up your salary will increase, everything will come at it's own time. What this means by saying serve others is to help people that need support or advice from you so they can also achieve . If you do an act of kindness you will get something in return and it will be even better.

Challenges Teens Face Today

The major challenges that teens face today is depression, bullying, sexual activity, drug use, alcohol use, obesity, academic problems, peer pressure, on-screen violence. To be honest I am not dealing with any of those teen challenges because it is wrong passing through that at a wrong age and also because I care about my good reputation and about my grades. Being a ctr person can help because making the right choices can help you have a good future, good character, and more people will admire you. I can help other teens by giving them advice and showing them how can bad decisions help you to have a bad future and also by showing them how it can affect your body and ways to solve it. If it doesn't work then the best thing to do is to talk to their parents, a teacher, or a counselor to see if they can actually help them.

Reflection: The greatest need that kids need is support from their parents because they can give advice to their kids and always helping them with the problems they have. Also because they are the only people that pay attention and know well their kids so they cannot go to the wrong path.

This quote means that being a good character is not easy, but if you choose the right you will be the best. Making the right choices is not always easy but if you do make the right decision it will make you feel good. It will make you feel good because you picked the decision that was best for you and for others. For example, if you see a homeless on the street and he is hungry, cold, and you feel bad for the person then, the best thing to do is to choose the right and give him food and the stuff he needs. It will make you feel good because you helped a person and it will also make the homeless to feel good because they are people that care for them. Being a c-t-r person can be easy because you can make a great change in the people or in the whole community. Another example will be making thankful cards for the whole community by telling them how much you appreciate them. This example can make a change a person because they will feel loved and appreciated by others.

Doing the right is important because it is showing the manners you have and how good your parents have raised you and also it is showing your good character. It is the best thing to do because you can do a great change in the community, person, and on the world. An example will be if you see a lot of plastics bottles and cans on the floor and you decide to recycle it to make a change on the community and you go the place where they recycle, then you end up getting money for the bottles and cans you sold. The point of my example is to show people that if you do the right because you are kind in return you get something even better because of your good heart. There are decisions that people have to make everyday either on school, job, or everywhere you go. It can apply to us like students by always getting someones advice like a parent, teacher, or a friend. Another example would be in school if you see someones money fall you have two choices. The first choice will be keeping the money and buying stuff and the second choice will be to give the money back because you saw who it belongs to, but as the good student you are you decide to return it back. People have to make a decision that will not make them feel regret and feel guilty before it is too late. The best way to make a decision you will not feel guilty and regretful will be choosing the right because it will make you and others to feel proud.

This quote means that people never receive nothing good but jail or bad consequences by choosing the wrong. Nothing is gained because a person can regret what they did but when it is too late. For example, if you lie to your mom that you are going to graduate she buys you everything you need the lie get bigger and bigger and you start to regret what you did when the day is about to come. Lying is really bad because you are not gaining nothing in telling one a lie but you will gain a lot of regret and guilt like the example I used. People choose bad decisions and go the wrong way causing them to get into serious problems. Like another example will be, the teen who got arrested for drugs she was laughing at the judge and then told him a bad word, and days later she was all crying and being sad to the judge to convince him about not letting her in jail. In my opinion I think the girl deserves to be in jail for she can learn a lesson about drugs and next time she is out of jail she would not do drugs again if she doesn't want the number of years she was in jail for the mistake she did before. All good or bad decisions it will determine you a good or bad consequence.

This quote means that happiest moments come when people has good character to choose the right when it is needed. Great movements are lived when you are celebrating your success, having a good time, and always choosing the right. Those good moments can happen if you always have good character 24/7 and also by getting more people to talk nice things about you. Do the right thing, at the right time means to help others in need when you actually feel it and what I mean by that is that if you have a nice heart you will help that person not only because you want fame or something but, it needs to come form you heart and from your good character. An example for this will be the girls who from the other team that helped carried Sarah to the home run base. It is admirable because they were the only who stand up and helped their opponent complete her first home run, this is showing that those don't care if they win or lose they only care about having fun, enjoying the game, and helping others. It is considered a great moment because they were showing their support and how teammates and opponents can bond together, instead of having their rivalry and winning some tournament. What I am trying to say is that if you show your good character you might meet people who are important/special to you because you are always choosing the right no matter what and encouraging people to have enthusiasm like you.

This quote means that you need to tell the truth and keep you promises no matter what is happening. Word of honor is a promise you make it can be like a goal, or a secret but you need to be honest with this by accomplishing it. A great example will be if you promise your self to get a high score on the test and you study for it, and when the test day comes you forget and you see your partner answering their test. It might want to catch you attention into cheating but no because cheating is bad. You need to remember about the promise you made to yourself and try hard on the test. This quote is talking about challenges people take in life. what I mean is that people need to pass by a lot of obstacles in order to complete you promise or to keep a secret safe. Another example would be when you are in your job and you need to do your presentation with your teammates at 5:00 in the afternoon and your car stops working and it is already 4:30 and you decide to run it and you get there before your teammates at 4:50 then that means that you keep your promise and showed up before the time that is showing that you are responsible. Being responsible is big part for this quote because it is showing us how honest and trustworthy we are.

Duties and Responsibilities: Use portable x-ray equipment to conduct x-rays in patients' hospital rooms. They can also work in hospitals or medical center's radiology department or work in emergency rooms. X-Ray Technicians can also work in specialized areas such as computed tomography scanning, MRI, and mammography.

Education: Need an Associates degree in Radiology, and also state license to get employed, and a certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. 

Demand or Need for the profession: Interpersonal Skills, Logic Skills, Technical Skills, and Communication Skills.

Reflection: I would like to be one because it will be interesting to do X-Rays and Scans to people. Also because they can work in hospitals and medical centers.

The 10 Indian commandments

The 10 Indian commandments I think they are based on the 10 commandments god wrote. The commandments show and tell people how to behave, act, and do. They are like rules and instructions they give people in order to choose the right but, the worst thing is that some people don't even pay attention to them. In my opinion people should follow all the amendments because the acts of kindness you do get in return and you will get stuff in return that are even better also, because you will earn people's respect because of your good character. The first amendment means that people should treat the world with respect for example, don't litter, keep the places clean, and don't vandalize, it wants to make the earth a safe and a clean environment. The second one means that people should be more closer to their religion like for example going to church, pray, and convince others to believe in god just like you do. The third one means to respect people no matter the color or the race because we are all humans and everyone matters. The fourth one means to do work together like in teams to make everything possible because working in teams gives you strength. Those were some examples of what some of the amendments mean, I follow them because I always help people who are in need or who have problems with something. I also follow the amendments by working together by giving more ideas. sharing them, and supporting the teammates on what they need help in.

Reflection: Yes I would like to be one because it will be interesting to see if what is going on with the human if there well or not. And also because they can solve problems and work in teams.

I agree with this quote because the promises and goals you have in life you should actually complete them or it will affect your good character. This quote means that you should be honest and not break you promises because it can be bad for you and others will get their feelings hurt. What I mean by feelings hurt is that for example when you promise someone you will be their for them on there special day and you totally forgot that person will end up being mad at you or will even talk about you for being a promise breaker. People that do promises is because they can achieve them and they know it. For example Abraham Lincoln he promised his mom that he will never smoke and drink alcohol and he was honest on completing his promise. People that complete their promises achieve more because it is giving them a good reputation and a good character. Some goals that I have is that I will graduate having straight A's and then get my bachelor's degree on economy. My other goal is to never do drugs or smoke. Like I said before never break promises choose the promises that you can achieve if you don't want to have a bad reputation.

I agree with this quote because it is saying that time does not waste if you take your time and help others. For example, the people who wanted to make kindness an official day by helping others and giving them stuff. It will be a good holiday because it is based on kindness and how people invest their time to see others happy and also because the good acts always get returned. People who are not doing acts of kindness and are choosing the wrong always end up having bad consequences. Another example, will be the teenagers who end up in jail because of there bad choice. Those kids choose a wrong path and decided to do crimes and those crimes lead them to jail what I mean is that everything bad in life has it's own worse consequences. This quote relates to "Enthusiasm does a difference" because the more time you put on you kindness the more people will start to change because you are showing them that the good acts never fail and that you are most likely yo succeed.

I agree with this quote because it you need to choose the right no matter what is happening because it is the right thing to do. This quote means that people don't make decisions because they're easy, cheap, or popular you need to choose them because there the right choices that will lead you to succeed. I mean succeed because the more you try the more good opportunities in life you will get, the more people will admire you, and the more respect you will earn. Like for example the cowboy who stopped a rover from stealing a ladies bike in Walmart. He heard a lady screaming for her stolen bike he saw the rover and decided to go after him he used his rope and he caught him. I used this example because it is teaching others that you can just be yourself and follow your heart to choose the right and not because you are feeling pressured to.

I agree with the quote because people who are honest succeed more in life because they can earn a persons trust and friendship. This quote means that it doesn't matter if you win what matters most is they type of character you are. Meaning that people should be honest and support others because you can prove that you are choosing the right. Just like Abraham Lincoln he borrowed a book about George Washington from his neighbor the book got damaged because of the rain. He decided it was best to work for 3 days in the cornfields in order for him to repay the book. He did good stuff because he is choosing the right and he is showing people that he is not like the rest. Like for example some layers just want money and then run away without even solving a case. Which I mean is that there going to get a bad reputation because of that and later they will get a pay back for the bad choice they did. If you do a good act of kindness then you will get payed with something good in return but better of all you will be remembered by people for being honest and kind.

Intellect is having intelligence and having great thinking. The reason why character is more important is because people focus more on the manners you have than your intelligence because they see if you can work well with others or not. Like for example, the North Carolina coach he chooses people who have talent, character, and are intellectual. What means that if you don't require to have the three things he expects you to have then he will not want you on his team. The more of a good character you have, the more greater things you can achieve in life.

Having confidence in yourself can help you achieve because you don't give up and complete those goals/dreams you can have in life. An example for this will be Tyler Haws he trusted himself a lot which help him become a great basketball player which he still is now. He got a chance to complete his goal in being a missioner in the Philippines for 2-years. Being positive is another way to be successful because you are determined and working for what you really want. Believing in yourself is the most important thing because you can end up having new talents/skills you never thought you couldn't do in life.

This quote means that real people are the only ones who do choose the right. Doing truly great is making good decisions. Truly good means people who have a kind hear to help others. An example would be the kid who had a disability and he wanted to be on the football team. The time he got accepted he made a touch down for the team. They are doing truly because they accepted people no matter in what condition they have. They choose the right because they are giving others opportunities and rise and be known. Having a good heart is needed because it is showing that you have feelings and you want to support others. Doing good and making good decisions helps you because the good stuff you did gets payed in return and even better.
